The Information Resource Center
The Information Resource Center (IRC) is a special library specifically designed to support the culinary, baking and pastry arts, and foodservice management programs of CCA, Manila through collections and services which enable the students, alumni, faculty and employees to access recorded knowledge and information resources. The CCA IRC specializes in the field of food service. This support empowers our constituencies to develop competencies necessary to achieve their educational, research and professional goals.

The CCA IRC which is located at the 2nd floor of the Cravings building was established in 1998. The initial collection which is consists of around 1000 books and hundreds of periodicals are the personal collection of Ms. Susana P. Guerrero, the President of CCA, Manila. Today, the CCA IRC is has approximately 4000 books, periodicals and audio-visual materials covering all areas of food service system. The IRC operates with the open-shelf system for easy access. The IRC is open from Mondays to Fridays from 7:00am to 5:00pm.

Library Services
1. BORROWING – Borrowing of library materials for room use and home reading is provided.

2. MEDIA SERVICES - Audiovisual materials and equipment which includes LCD projector, television, VHS player, DVD player, and others may be borrowed for school activities upon a signing a request form and must be returned at the end of activity.

3. COMPUTER SERVICES – Internet access and computer typing for research, reports, projects, etc. are provided.

4. PHOTODUPLICATION – A machine is available to photocopy manuals, handouts, pages from the books, periodicals, articles and other printed materials at nominal charges. (P/1.40 for short and P/1.50 for long)
